Appliance Repair Technician — New York City

Volt & Vector is looking for an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our field service team in New York City. This position is exclusively for NYC and involves residential appliance diagnostics and repair throughout our service area.

Our technicians work on washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, ranges, ovens, cooktops, ventilation systems, and other residential appliances. Experience with premium brands such as Bosch, Miele, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, and Bertazzoni is especially valuable.

We are looking for someone who can diagnose problems properly rather than simply replace parts. You should be comfortable using a multimeter, reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation, testing electrical and mechanical components, and determining the actual cause of a failure before recommending a repair.

Previous professional appliance repair or related field-service experience is required. Technicians must be able to work independently, communicate clearly with customers, keep accurate job notes and photos, maintain a clean work area, and travel between appointments within New York City.

This is an in-person field service position in New York City only. It is not remote and does not cover New Jersey, Long Island, or other states.
