Temporary COI Update — Late November 2025

We’re still in the middle of switching insurance carriers, and the new carrier is taking longer than expected to finish the compliance paperwork. The policy itself is approved, but the custom COI documents are not fully released yet.

What this means right now

  • Our standard liability coverage is fully active for all visits.
  • The only thing paused is our ability to issue building-specific Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
  • We expect this to clear within the next 1–2 weeks (late November / early December).

If your building or management company requires a COI on file before service, please plan to book your appointment after the new certificate is active.

If your building does not require a COI, you can continue to book same-day and next-day appointments as usual across Brooklyn & Manhattan.

Good news

As part of this change, we’re upgrading to a stronger policy with higher limits and faster COI turnaround. Once the new policy goes live, most buildings will be able to receive their COI much faster than before — which means less waiting and easier scheduling for future repairs.
